Julee Wasserman
Julee has owned and operated JGT for the past eight years. She is a team building facilitator, and has also led hikes, snowshoe adventures, caving expeditions, and Orienteering scavenger hunts. She holds a BA in Communication Arts as well as a Business Development for Entrepreneurs certificate. Prior to JGT she worked for Friends of the Columbia Gorge, and was a writer/researcher for The Discovery Channel.

John Waller
John works as a mountaineering, snowshoeing, hiking, white water rafting, and wine tour guide. He is a certified NOLS Wilderness First Responder. He has battled forest fires with the Prineville Interagency Hotshot Crew, worked as a Tour Manager for a local tour and travel company, and coordinated the MESD Outdoor School Program as a Program leader. In 2002 he returned to school to pursue a Master's in Education from Portland State University. His Master's thesis work included a month-long unit on Orienteeting Land Navigation.

Carey Pivcevich
Carey grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and has lived in Scotland, Botswana and Japan as well as around the US. However, she feels most at home on the West Coast where she can indulge her love of mountains and outdoor sports. Carey is a Licensed Acupuncturist who discovered her affinity to the outdoors in 1983 on an Outward Bound trip to the Three Sisters Wilderness area. Since then she has taken numerous backpacking and showshoeing trips, including a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2002 and the Pacific Crest Trail in 2006.

Greg Hill
Greg is a Portland writer and outdoor enthusiast who has actively pursued exploring the natural wonders of the Northwest since 1993. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Biology and Literature, he spent a year triangulating Bermuda, scuba diving and conducting marine research before moving to Oregon. As a fisheries biologist in the national forest, he became an expert at navigating the topography and identifying the flora and fauna of Mt. Hood and the Columbia Gorge.

Kristy Wright
Kristy grew up in Vancouver, Washington. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast - enjoying the great outdoors through snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking, camping, traveling, and road & mountain biking. In 2003 she earned her B.S. in Kinesiology: Exercise Science at California State University, Sacramento and returned to the great northwest in 2006. After being away Kristy has truly grown to appreciate the vast beauty the northwest has to offer. Since returning home, she has been able to explore the area with new eyes and interest. Kristy has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 7 years, and currently works in Vancouver as a Personal Trainer and Group Cycle Instructor.

Jim Mason
Jim developed an interest in outdoor sports while growing up on the Lower Columbia River in Rainier, Oregon. In 1998, he migrated upriver to the town of Hood River in the Columbia River Gorge shortly after finishing law school. Since then, his legal practice has been balanced with ample adventure through hiking, skiing, sailing, and traveling. He has enjoyed guiding for Julee's Gorge Tours for the past eight years.
